The Moon Gate Garden

The Moon Gate was already in this garden. The client wanted a design which was a bit edgy and contemporary but also complemented the architecture of the building. We provided them with a new terrace, then stepping down on to the path which leads you through the borders and the Moon Gate to enter the garden. We laid a circular terrace in the centre of the lawn and surrounded it with Gabions filled with Cotswold Stone and finished with sandstone paving. The lawn has been contoured around this space. A fire pit in the centre completes it. Image cushions to sit on and a fire in the centre on a summer’s night.
