Courtyard Garden

We removed the old leaking pond on the lower level and pushed back the retaining walls creating a larger lower seating area. The two flights of steps each side were removed building a single flight up the middle. The walling stone was cleaned up and reused, we brought in reclaimed paving to tie in with the existing thus creating a courtyard which looks like it has been there for years. The pond was relocated to the next level in the centre of the lawn creating a simple elegant understated space.
